Design: This is a daily use, full lifestyle chair. Adaptable to almost every need.

Configurable and adjustable: Our reclining wheelchair enables the user to adjust their seating position from upright (90 degrees) to lying down (180 degrees) – and everything in-between.
The high back fully reclines.
A supportive headrest comfortably cradles the head and neck, and is removable for added versatility.
The elevating, padded leg rests with pneumatic piston are independently adjustable and can be elevated to suit, or entirely removed.
Footrests are adjustable to various angles, swing away – or can be entirely removed.
Arms rests are full length, adjustable and detachable
Comes with carry pocket on back rest.

Frame: Made of durable, heavy gauge, with reinforced black nylon upholstery for easy maintenance and care.
Reinforced steel gussets at all weight-bearing points provide additional support and strength.
The aluminium frame has a powder-coated finish and is easy-to-maintain.

Safety: Rear anti-tippers and an anti-fold spreader bar on the seat back are standard.
Anti-tippers, prevent the user from falling over backward, especially useful for amputees, where weight dispersion can be troublesome. It has no calf straps, but the legs rest comfortably inside adjustable calf pads, which also serve to keep the legs in place.
The chair has dual brakes: side brakes for the user and unity brakes for the person assisting. The unity brakes over-ride the side brakes.

Transport: Despite its dimensions, the chair is relatively lightweight, easy to fold, and easy to transfer – with a little preparation.
It can only be folded when upright. The headrest locks the chair. Removing the headrest enables the chair to fold down completely. After that, it’s a simple matter of removing the footrests, legs, and armrests.

In terms of maneuverability, the chair has push rims for independent use and can be self-propelled. It can pass through a standard door with relative ease.
The extent of the maneuverability does however depend on the chair set up at the time and user purpose.
At full extension, mobility is obviously limited – and it takes up a fair amount of space, which is a due consideration.

Wheels: This lightweight, fully reclining wheelchair has 8″ solid front castors, and 24″ pneumatic rear wheels, making it ideal for indoor use. Should you wish to use it extensively outdoors, the wheels can be replaced with krypton, but the ride will be harder.
